Home / How it works

One record. Two sides.

The producer registers the product. The shopper checks it. Glouf sits in the middle and connects the two, so the question "is this real?" gets a clear answer.

  2. Scan the code on the packPoint the camera at the Glouf QR code.

02What a scan answers

Three questions, one scan.

Every Glouf check comes down to whether the code in your hand matches a real registration.

1Is this code registered?A code Glouf doesn't recognise is the first warning sign.
2Who registered it?You see the producer behind the product, not just the label on it.
3Which product is it for?Check that the details on screen match the pack in your hand.

Good to know: a scan confirms the link between a code and its registered source. It works best alongside good packaging practice: unique codes per unit, tamper-evident labels, and scanning only through the official Glouf app.
